I had so much fun making these 12 cards in just under 30 minutes! Way less money than purchasing cards in a store…especially embellished cards like these.
Creative Memories Supply List:
- Feeling Bright Card Kit (includes storage box, Instructions, Cards, Envelopes, Designer Paper, Embellishments and Sentiments plus a Bonus pack of Embellishments/Sentiments!)
- Tape Runner Adhesive or Photo Tape
- Foam Squares
- Micro-tip Pen (for signing back of cards)
Here are just a few of the many cards you can make using the Feeling Bright Card Kit:

Creative Memories Card Kits all come with a sturdy box which are very nice for storing your cards or for using as drawer organizers, etc afterwards – I’m not kidding these are very nice boxes!! The Kit also comes with instructions, 12 coordinating envelopes (super cute patterned paper inside that matches the card kit), 12 heavy-duty blank cards that are already scored for you. And it comes with all the embellishments numbered 1-12 for you to make 12 beautiful cards.
Each piece is numbered for you. For instance, for Card One you would use the pieces marked 1A, 1B, 1C, etc. You can follow the instructions or you can do your own thing. There is a color picture of each completed card so it’s super easy to copy if you don’t want to get creative. I like to sort the pieces into 12 piles so that I can easily find them when I’m making the cards.
Use Tape Runner or Photo Tape to attach the larger pieces onto your cards. I like to use Foam Squares for the embellishments to give them a nice dimensional look. You can mix and match adhesives depending on how you want your cards to look.
Your cards will come with sentiments but you can choose which sentiments you want to use. There are a ton of Bonus pieces that come with your Card Kit so you can mix and match and choose the sentiments that you think you will most use.
Remember to sign the back of the cards with your initials because you did “hand make” these cards! Select a coordinating envelope and you’re good to go! When you are finished you will have a beautiful set of 12 cards ready to go for any occasion. I like to keep a book of stamps near my cards so there are no excuses to mail off some happy mail! I hope you like these card ideas. If you have a lot of leftover pieces and want to make more cards, you can always add the Blank Cards/Envelopes Kit to your order.

If you prefer cutting cardstock to make your own card base, that’s always an option too. Check out my blog post for instructions on how to make your own envelopes: DIY How to Make an Envelope
