Here is an easy way to get your photos into an album (see video and supply list below):

  • Decide what Stories you want to Tell: You don’t have to print every photo or event. What are the stories you want to remember? Scrapbook that!
  • Print your Photos: Print your favorite photos from the year. I typically print more photos than I actually end up using just because I like to play around with the layout and crop some of my photos into smaller sizes.
  • Simple Page Kits: Creative Memories has been coming out with Simple Page Kits for the past couple of years. They are a fun and easy way to make a visually-appealing two-page spread for your photos. These are great for beginners as well as seasoned scrapbookers.
  • Additional Refill Pages: You can mix and match pages in Creative Memories albums. There are so many options! You’ll see in this video I added additional pages in between the Page Kits because I needed more page than just one page spread per month.
  • Sticky Notes: I used sticky notes to jot down what photos I wanted on my pages. That way I knew what photos to order and also it gave me an overview on how everything was going to fit. I was able to get all of our favorite stories/photos/memories from 2023 into this one album. I have many clients who do this but I also have clients who make several volumes of albums PER YEAR! It really depends on your personal desire.

I hope this video is helpful to you. Subscribe to my YouTube channel so that you will get notified when I upload Part 2 which will be the completed album flip-thru! What do you think of this method? Leave a comment under the video or on my Facebook Page. I would love to hear from you and also if you have any questions or requests for future videos/blog posts.
