Welcome
Meet Donna Lyn Watson
Helping You Keep Your Memories Simple, Fun & Meaningful
Hi, I’m Donna Lyn Watson—but most people call me Donna Lyn or DL. I’m a memory keeper, Creative Memories Advisor, journaler, writer, doodler and happy plannerer (is that a word?). Basically, I’m a lifelong pen-and-paper lover who believes our everyday stories are worth remembering.
I’m the founder of A Dash of Story and a Creative Memories Advisor serving Tigard, Portland and communities throughout Northwest Oregon.
A Dash of Story grew from my passion for keeping memory keeping simple, fun and meaningful. With decades of experience in scrapbooking and journaling, I love helping people find practical, uncomplicated ways to preserve their photos, document their stories and enjoy the creative process along the way.
Simple. Fun. Meaningful.
If you’re overwhelmed by scrapbooking and don’t know where to begin, I’ll help you find simple solutions.
If you want your creative time to feel less like another item on your to-do list, I’ll help you put the fun back into scrapbooking and journaling.
And if you want your albums and journals to capture more than dates and photos, I’ll help you make your memory keeping meaningful by preserving the stories behind the memories.
Through Creative Memories products, scrapbook classes, workshops, events, journaling ideas and memory-keeping inspiration, I want to make it easier for you to tell your story. Whether you’re creating your very first scrapbook page or you’ve been preserving memories for years.
You'll also find a welcoming creative community where you can learn, create, connect and be inspired.
