Congratulations! We made it through the whole year of layouts! This post caps the end of my year of simple, fast layout ideas. You can find them all (January – December) HERE.
Ready for some more fast pages? For this video, I printed my favorite photos from December and will show you some fast page ideas using Creative Memories Snowbound Paper Pack for your backgrounds.
Page Layout 1
For this page I mounted 5 photos onto a coordinating designer paper from the Snowbound Paper Pack and mounted them in a circle onto the page.
Next add a 12-inch Border Sticker behind the top photo and cross the top of your page. Add a handwritten title on a strip of white cardstock.
You will have room in the middle of the your circle of photos where you can add journaling or mount a sticker or embellishments using Foam Squares. When I cover the background with designer paper, I like to journal on white cardstock because I think it makes the journaling stand out more than if it is written directly on the busy background paper.
Page Layout 2 and 3
For the next page spread, I’m using two sheets of paper from the Snowbound Paper Pack. Using the 12-inch straight Trimmer, trim off 3 inches from each piece of 12×12 paper. Adhere the large pieces towards the center. I like to use the less busy side for large sheets as I feel it doesn’t compete with your photos as much. Use the busier patterned side on the smaller strips and adhere them to the outside edges. You may have a tiny gap in between the two pieces of paper but we can clean that up by using a 12-inch skinny sticker strip from the Snowbound Sticker Pack. Just add the border sticker strip between your two patterned papers and it will look really nice!
Add photos and journaling strips. You can see how the white cardstock pops off the patterned paper. Add a title sticker on the top left and bottom right of your layout. Here is the video on how to make these super fast, simple December pages:
