Welcome to Scrapbooking Fun with Donna Lyn! In this video (below) I’ll show you some simple ideas for enhancing your scrapbook pages using Foam Squares, Stickers, Embellishments, Ruled Paper and ABC/123 Stickers :

Foam Squares

I know it may seem redundant to add Foam Squares to your Stickers (since stickers are already sticky) but adding a Foam Square to the back just really makes it pop out and gives your page a 3D quality.

Lined Paper

Another fun tip is to use Creative Memories Lined Designer Paper. The lined paper packs are available in three different colors: White, Natural, and Spargo. The 12×12 sheets of lined paper are lined on one side and blank on the back side giving you options for ruled lines for writing or a blank side for stamping. You can cut the paper to size and mount it onto a patterned mat to make your own journaling boxes!

DIY Stickers

Sometimes there are stickers on a sheet that you won’t use. In the video I show you a red cloud sticker that I didn’t think I would ever use. So I cut out some heart shapes from the cloud and basically just DIY’d my own patriotic heart stickers!

DIY Journaling Boxes

After I lay out my photos, I measure the space leftover and will use that to make my own journaling boxes. Measure the space, cut your lined paper to size, then mount your lined paper “box” onto a patterned designer paper. Add a few stickers as an accent and you have just made your own customized journal box.

ABC/123 Stickers

ABC/123 Stickers are great for making titles for your pages. I prefer them over rubber stamps because they are less messy but it can be frustrating when you run out of letters. I use Creative Memories Multi-Purpose Tool to help me place the stickers.

Embellishments

Embellishments are great for adding a little extra decoration to your page. I recommend adhering them to your page with Tape Runner or Foam Squares. They are meant to be layered. Some embellishments come pre-layered but most come with all the elements and you can layer them!
