Ready for some more fast pages? For this video, I printed my favorite photos from April and will be showing you five page ideas .
For the pages shown in this video I used Creative Memories Spring Cottage Fast2Fab Refill Pages as the base (see full supply list below). I’ve also included the Page Layout Sketches in this post (below the video).
Page Layout 1
For Page Layout 1, you can fit six photos onto this page. Line up three photos at the top (approx 4″ x 4.25″) and two photos at the bottom (approx 4″ x 5″) and one smaller photo (approx 4″ x 3″). Stick the photos down with Tape Runner. Next, add title stickers using Foam Squares to give them dimension. The extra space on your page can be used to tell the story. You can journal directly on the page. On this layout there will also be room at the bottom of the page for additional journaling. Try incorporating one of the title or word stickers with Foam Squares in one or more of your sentences. This give a little pop to your journaling.
Page Layout 2
For Page Layout 2 start with cutting one of your photos into a circle. You can use the Custom Cutting System to do this or if your photo is already of a circle like the cake photo I used, you can just cut it out with scissors. The rest of your photos will be 4×6.
Angle one of your photos to the right and cut the corner off to be flush with the inside edge of your page. Mount the middle photo onto a Mat from a Variety Mat Pack. Stick the rest of your photos down.
Add title stickers using Foam Squares. You can also add a cluster of embellishments near the top of the page. It is fun to journal in an arch shape around the bottom of the circle shaped photo.
Page Layout 3
For Page Layout 3 we are pretty much going to mirror Page 2. Instead of a circle photo, use that space for a journaling mat. Just like we did for Page 2, angle one of your photos – this time towards the left. Cut off the corner of the photo to be flush with the inside edge of your page and lined up with the angled photo from Page 2.
Mount the middle photo onto a Mat. Adhere all your photos down and include a Large Journal Mat tucked underneath your angled photo. Now it’s time to tell your story. You have plenty of room for journaling on the journal box or directly on the page. Add some title stickers and you are done!
Page Layout 4
Layout 4 features four photos and a journaling mat. Angle one photo off the left side of your page. Cut the corner off of the photo so it lies flush to the edge of your page. Mount the rest of your photos after cropping them to approximately 4″ x 5″.
Add sticker clusters, titles or embellishments with Foam Squares. Even though stickers already come sticky, I like to add Foam Squares because it gives your pages extra dimension. It’s totally optional, of course.
Now you have room to slip a Journal Mat underneath your angled photo or you can write directly on the page. I like how the mat ties all the photos together. Journal your story and you are done!
Page Layout 5
Layout 5 is one of my most simple layouts and requires no cropping of your photos. Just mount four 4×6 photos into a simple grid. Use the bottom space for a ten-inch line of journaling and Page 5 is done!
You don’t have to add stickers or embellishments to every page, especially with Fast2Fab Pages as they are predesigned. I add stickers and embellishments because I like to but it’s always optional. I hope these simple layout ideas helped you with your scrapbooking.
