Gee, Golly! This is a throwback to some fun!! Did you grow up in the 1970’s? I did. I remember typewriters, rotary phones and cassette tapes. When I was a teenager my older sister was already out of the house with toddlers under foot. I would call her everyday after school. My sister had to get one of those extra long cords so she could talk to me and still keep track of her babies. I think that phone cord was over 20 feet long! Haha!

Another fun memory I have from the 70’s is when my best friend Lisa and I would record our own talk shows. We called it the D&L Show! We used my portable tape recorder and I still have those cassette tapes to this day. It would be fun to listen to them again but I have no cassette players to play them. When I made the cassette tape card from the Gee, Golly! Card Kit, I wrote “D&L Show” “1979” on the embellishment. You know who I am sending this card to….won’t Lisa get a laugh?! And if you are too young to remember cassette tapes, you certainly might appreciate them after watching Guardians of the Galaxy!

I made all of these cards with just one Gee, Golly! Card Kit!
In this video I’ll show you how easy it is to make one of these cards. As you can see in the video all of the pieces are pre-cut and the Kit includes extra bonus pieces as well as color instructions for each card. Adhesive is sold separately. 12 Card bases and Envelopes plus a gift box are also included. Be sure to sign the back of the cards you make!

I recommend using Repositionable Tape Runner and Foam Squares with the Card Kits. These are so quick and easy!
